Where we work

55 communities across San Bernardino, Riverside and eastern Los Angeles counties, worked out of one shop in Yucaipa since 1982.

Roughly half of what we do is unplanned, which is why a person answers this line around the clock.

Why the map looks like this

The reach across San Bernardino, Riverside and eastern Los Angeles counties is a consequence of longevity rather than a marketing decision. Customers move, recommend us to people in other towns, and the map fills in over four decades.

The older tracts and the newer ones fail in different ways, and knowing which you are standing in is most of a fast diagnosis.

The equipment on the truck reflects what this region needs: hard-water problems, aging cast iron, slab construction and properties on septic.

Based in Yucaipa

The shop is in Yucaipa, in the eastern end of San Bernardino County, and everything on this page radiates out from there. The valley communities are close; the desert cities and the Los Angeles County edge are a longer run, and we will be straight with you about what that means for timing when you call.

Call and a person picks up, day or night. If it is urgent we will often tell you what to shut off before we are on the road.

Three counties, one shop

San Bernardino County is home. The shop is in Yucaipa and the surrounding communities, Redlands, Calimesa, Loma Linda, Colton and the rest of the valley floor, are the ground we have covered longest. Housing here runs from pre-war construction through to new development, which means we see the full range of what plumbing does as it ages.

Riverside County covers the largest share of the cities we serve, from Calimesa and Beaumont right across to the Coachella Valley communities. That is a long reach and we are honest about it: a call in Palm Desert is a different drive from a call in Redlands, and we will tell you what that means for timing when you ring.

A call in Palm Desert is a different drive from a call in Redlands, and we will tell you what that means for timing.

The Los Angeles County communities on our list sit along the eastern edge, around Pomona, Claremont, Glendora and West Covina. That is the western end of our territory and it has been part of the route for years.

What we bring wherever we go

Between camera work, locating, cabling and jetting, most of what goes wrong underground can be identified and handled without opening the ground at all.

Our credentials cover the inside plumbing, the septic and sewer side, and the engineering work that goes with putting things underground.

Properties on septic rather than sewer turn up right across this territory, particularly on larger lots and in the less densely developed areas. Holding sanitation licensing alongside plumbing means those are jobs we take rather than refer, which on an older rural property is usually the difference between one contractor and three.

Quotes are free and they are specific. A number with no explanation behind it is not much use to anybody.

Questions

If yours is not here, call and ask.

How far do you travel?

We cover San Bernardino County, Riverside County and the eastern edge of Los Angeles County out of Yucaipa. If you are near the edge of that, call and ask rather than assuming.

Do you charge extra for distance?

Call and ask and we will be straight with you. You get the number before the work starts either way.

Which county is my city in?

The lists on this page are organized by county, and each city has its own page with local detail.

Will you tell me if I do not need the work?

Yes, and we do regularly. A shop that has been in one family for four decades cannot afford a reputation for selling people work they did not need.

What areas do you serve?

Yucaipa and out across San Bernardino County, Riverside County and the eastern edge of Los Angeles County. If you are not sure you are in range, call and ask.

Do you pull permits?

Where the work requires them, yes. Permits and inspections are handled as part of the job rather than left to the customer.

Do you work nights and weekends?

Yes. Nights, weekends and holidays are ordinary working hours in this trade, and emergency calls are answered around the clock.

Not sure if you are in range?

Call and ask. We cover more ground than most shops our size and the answer is usually yes.
