Emergency Industrial Plumbing

Emergency Industrial Plumbing

When plumbing stops a plant, the cost is measured in production rather than repair. Emergency industrial response is about getting a line back in service safely and quickly.

When to call

What usually brings people to this

Decades of hard water leaves scale in every fixture, valve and heater it passes through, and it does not undo itself.

(909) 888-8736

These are the symptoms that usually prompt the call. Any one of them is worth a conversation, and most of them get cheaper to deal with the earlier they are looked at.

  • A failure that has stopped production

  • Process water loss

  • Drainage failure flooding a work area

  • A leak threatening equipment or stock

  • Any plumbing failure creating a safety hazard

A problem caught at the first symptom is a repair. The same problem six months later is often a replacement.

How we work it

We trace the problem back to its source rather than treating whatever symptom brought us out.

See our work

  1. Make it safe first

Isolation and containment before anything else, particularly where equipment or people are at risk.

  2. Get production moving

Where a sound temporary repair restores operation, that is often the right first move.

  3. Then make it permanent

The permanent repair scheduled into a window that does not cost another shutdown.

  4. Work out why it failed

A failure that stopped a plant once will do it again if the cause is not addressed.

Galvanized closes up from the inside until pressure drops and pinholes start. A repipe replaces the run rather than chasing failures through it.

Worth knowingWhat emergency industrial plumbing actually involves

Pricing a job properly means an actual assessment, not a number given over the phone by someone who has not seen the problem.

In an industrial emergency the right first move is often a sound temporary repair that gets production running again, followed by a permanent repair scheduled into a planned window. Insisting on the permanent fix immediately can mean extending a shutdown by days for no real benefit. We will tell you which situation you are in.

We carry what it takes to finish the common jobs in one visit, because a return trip costs you time you did not plan to spend.

The territory we cover spans three counties, which is a practical consequence of having been the plumber people call here since 1982. If you are outside the usual radius, call and ask. We cover more ground than most shops our size.

We trace the problem back to its source rather than treating whatever symptom brought us out.

Keeping it from happening again

A problem caught at the first symptom is a repair. The same problem six months later is often a replacement.

  • Wipes should not go down any drain, whether the packet says flushable or not. They do not break down, and they are behind a large share of the main line blockages we clear.

  • Water heaters benefit from an annual flush in this region more than almost anywhere else, because our water leaves sediment on the bottom of the tank where the heat has to pass through it.

  • Knowing your own system is worth real money. Where the main shutoff is, where the sewer cleanout is, how old the water heater is, and whether the property is on sewer or septic. Those four facts shorten every future service call you will ever have.

  • If you have had a line cleared more than once, ask for a camera inspection rather than a third clearing. Repeated blockages nearly always have a physical cause worth finding.

Who you are calling

We would rather come out and find it was nothing than have somebody wait on a problem that was getting worse.

More about the family

When you call, a person answers, day or night. That has been true since Big Mike ran the phone himself, and it is one of the reasons people keep calling us.

We are licensed across plumbing, sanitation and general engineering, which reflects the range of work this region actually needs.

We answer the phone at two in the morning because the problems that need us most do not happen at noon.

Questions we get about emergency industrial plumbing

If yours is not here, call and ask. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.

How fast can you respond?

We run a 24-hour line and treat production stoppages as the priority they are.

Can you do a temporary repair to restart production?

Often yes, where it can be done safely. Then the permanent repair is scheduled into a planned window.

Do you work with our maintenance team?

Yes, routinely. They know the plant and we know the plumbing.

Can you help prevent repeat failures?

Yes. After an emergency we will tell you what actually caused it and what it takes to stop it recurring.

What payment do you take?

Call and ask and we will tell you straight. You will know the cost before the work starts either way.

What should I do before you arrive?

Know where your main water shutoff is and whether it turns. Clear access to the work area. If you smell gas, leave the building and call from outside.

How soon can you get here?

We run a 24-hour line and same-day service is normal. When you call we will give you a realistic window rather than an optimistic one that slips.

Can you handle septic as well as plumbing?

Yes, and it is a big part of what we do. We are licensed for sanitation systems, so tanks, leach lines and the plumbing that feeds them are all one contractor.

How this fits the rest of the system

Coordination with a plant's own maintenance team is usually how industrial work goes best. They know the process, the schedule and the equipment; we know the plumbing. The jobs that go badly are the ones where a contractor works in isolation from the people who understand what the system is actually doing.

Before we come out

Make sure someone who can make decisions about the work is available, so we are not waiting to get approval on what we found.

Between San Bernardino County, Riverside County and the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, we cover most of what anyone means by the Inland Empire, plus the desert communities further out.
