Pump Installation
Sewage ejector, effluent and sump pumps all move water something cannot move on its own. Sizing and float setup are what determine whether the installation lasts or becomes a recurring problem.

When to call
Slab foundations are a regional specialty. When a supply line under the concrete lets go, the first sign is usually a warm spot on the floor or a water bill nobody can explain.
These are the symptoms that usually prompt the call. Any one of them is worth a conversation, and most of them get cheaper to deal with the earlier they are looked at.
A basement or below-grade fixture needing drainage
A septic system needing effluent pumping
Groundwater intrusion needing a sump
Replacing a pump at end of life
A new build with a below-grade connection
The difference between a planned repair and an emergency call is usually a few weeks of noticing something and doing nothing.
We start by finding out what is actually happening, not what it looks like from the fixture.
Establish what the pump has to do
Flow, head height and solids handling determine the pump. The wrong type fails early.
Check the basin and discharge
Basin size and discharge routing matter as much as the pump.
Install with proper floats and a check valve
Float setup determines cycling, and cycling determines life.
Test under real conditions
Run it through real cycles before we leave.
If we find something beyond what you called us about, you hear about it before we touch it, not afterwards.
Pump failures trace back to sizing and float setup more often than to the pump itself. An undersized pump runs constantly and burns out. An oversized one short-cycles, which is equally hard on it. Floats set too close together cause the same short-cycling problem. Getting the sizing and float arrangement right at installation is most of what determines whether you replace it in three years or twelve.
Pressure testing, acoustic listening and thermal imaging all get used regularly here, because slab construction makes hidden leaks a routine part of the work.
From the shop in Yucaipa we cover the San Bernardino valley, the Riverside side, and out into the eastern San Gabriel Valley communities. If you are outside the usual radius, call and ask. We cover more ground than most shops our size.

The cheapest plumbing is the kind that gets looked at before it fails. An annual walk of the visible plumbing, checking under sinks, around the water heater and at any exposed pipe, catches most problems while they are still small and dry.
Keep grease out of drains, and that includes running hot water after it. Hot water simply carries it further down the line to somewhere less convenient.
For commercial property, a maintenance schedule on drains and interceptors costs a fraction of emergency response, and it is the difference between planned work and a closure.
If you are on septic, know your pumping interval and keep to it. It is the single highest-return maintenance item in plumbing, because the alternative is a drain field, and drain fields cost many times what pumping does.
Scheduling is straightforward: call, describe what is happening, and we will give you a real window rather than a vague promise.
A lot of our work comes from customers we have had for decades, and from the people they send us. That is essentially the whole marketing strategy and it has held up for forty-four years.
Our licensing covers plumbing, sanitation and general engineering, so excavation and underground work are part of what we do rather than a subcontract.
A veteran founded this company and his family runs it now. The standard he set is the one we are still held to.

If yours is not here, call and ask. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.
Depends on what it moves. Sewage ejectors handle solids; effluent pumps handle septic discharge; sumps handle groundwater. They are not interchangeable.
Several years typically, driven mostly by cycle frequency. Correct sizing and float setup extend it considerably.
If a failure means sewage backing up or a flooded space, yes. An alarm at minimum.
Usually float setting or an undersized basin, sometimes a failed check valve letting discharge run back.
Yes. We hold plumbing, sanitation and general engineering contractor licensing, which lets one shop handle work that runs from inside the house out to the septic field.
For simple, well-defined jobs sometimes. For anything that needs diagnosis, a number quoted blind is a guess, and we would rather look first and give you a real figure.
Regularly. We coordinate around construction schedules, tenant access and operating hours as a matter of course.
Yes. We haul off whatever we replaced and put the area back. You should not be able to tell we were there except that it works.
Septic systems are far more sensitive to what goes into them than sewer connections are. A municipal system dilutes and treats at scale. A septic tank is a small ecosystem where wipes, grease, harsh chemicals and excessive water all cause real damage. The habits of the household matter more to septic longevity than the age of the equipment does.
Note whether the problem affects one fixture or several. That single fact separates a local repair from a main line issue.
